Cuyler Cotton is the owner and principal consultant of Dovetail Resources. A graduate of Lakehead University, Mr. Cotton’s early career included employment as an adult education teaching master with Confederation College, an investigator and field officer with the Ontario Human Rights Commission and an instructor of poverty law with Canadian Civil Liberties Education Trust. His additional years of employment in the pulp and paper, mining and construction industries are of no less importance to him in his work.

Mr. Cotton has received training in concilliation from the Ontario Department of Labour, negotiation at Harvard Law School and Faciltation and Consensus building with the Canadian Institute of Cultural Affairs.

With over 30 years in the field, Mr. Cotton’s facilitation and dispute resolution skills have been challenged by a wide range of demands: everything from staff “team building” workshops to non-violent roadblocks and even armed confrontations.
